Okay, I finally found a quick and easy pattern for Christmas scarves for my mom, aunts and cousin.

My size 11 needles were already in use with another project so I bought some new ones.  I am going to knit with bamboo needles for the first time.

Here is the pattern

For my mom's scarf, I'm going to use Patons Classic Wool, colorway: Congnac Heather.

More work has been done on my lace shawl.  I figure it's a small enough project for me to work on at work.  I even got complemented on it by our HR lady and the CEO.  So yeah, it's an easier pattern than I thought so it's going quickly.  Here's the latest picture.

I stumbled upon a group at Ravelry for a mystery crochet-a-long.  I decided to give it a try.  I still need to go buy yarn today.  I have no idea what color to use.  I was thinking of a grey color so it might go with anything.  But we'll see.
